I haven’t even used them yet, but can already tell that they are light years ahead of comparably priced models/brands. Very heavy duty, very well constructed, no looseness in the joints or hinges and the rubber feet are fairly thick, actual rubber, as opposed to the thin plasticy-rubber feet that many stand makers try to get by with. I don’t see these slipping off easily or wearing through any time soon. The only issue I could see possibly manifesting itself would be the rivet-like pins holding the arms together at the bracket where the legs meet wearing out, although you’d really have to abuse the stands in general. Even the branding stickers are high quality foil, so they peel easily off if you’re after the straight black look.

These are the hands down the nicest speaker stands you can buy at this price point. Period. I am a mobile dj, and I abuse stands. I purchased my first set of stands about a year and a half ago after some of my other stands started to show their age. I was pleasantly surprised by my first set so much that when it came time to buy another set of stands it wasn’t even an option to buy a different brand.

I was paranoid about putting my Mackie 824’s up on a stand. I think they weigh about 35 lbs, but these stands handled them with no problem. Just make sure you let the weight ride on the pin before tightening them down. Great item, I’ll probably get some more to put my stereo speakers on.

If you’re looking for a quality stand without breaking the bank, look no further! You won’t be disappointed as everything works just like it should and so far seems to be very durable! The metal used is much thicker than what other stands in this price range use. These feel solid and sturdy with just the right amount of heft without needing to be a body builder to lug them around. My only regret is not getting carrying bags just to make it a little more convenient. That’s my own fault and no fault of the stands.

Stop reading and just buy these! They really are great!

First off, I never buy anything without reading reviews, and this was no exception. But, since the stands were sol by Gopandy Musical, I just knew they would be great quality as I had already bought one of their fine tripod mic stands, as well as a tablet holder.
As soon as I lifted the box they came in, I knew they were different as they were heavier. I weighed and compared them to my previous stands at 5.6 pounds and these weighed 8.4 pounds, even though they were slightly smaller. Also, the hardware seems a little heavier as well. As you can see in the pictures they use a cam system to lock the adjustments, unlike other companies that use a split plastic sleeve. They also have washers under the knobs as well. To test them, I extended the tubes to the second to last hole and mounted my Yamaha DXR12 speaker on it (42 pounds). It was very sturdy and I believe these will last a long time! So if you were considering a cheaper stand I would suggest you save yourself some trouble and just get these from a great company.

The stands more than met my expectations! They are very robust and have no problems holding my Mackie Thump 15s. They aren’t the heaviest of speakers, but I’m sure these could easily hold speakers much heavier without a problem! The build quality is top notch!

Construction of this stand is. Well in a word AWESOME!!!! Cost of a set of stands of this quality is Unbelievable, I have bought brand name stands that did not compare to the quality of these stands. They also look great!
Great construction and very durable, I can NOT Recommend this set enough. You will not go wrong with this purchase!
