Perfect little mic stand, nice heavy base. Screw on mic clip size is not compatible with all sizes but we just removed the bolt in the middle and placed the other needed attachment on and it was a breeze. Great for a desktop mic stand and the price, not incredibly flexible but enough to get the job done and the base will hold up the mic easily at multiple angles.

I was skeptical about the potential quality of this desktop mic stand because it was 1/2 the price of competitive units. I was pleasantly surprised that the quality of the unit I received is excellent. The only missing piece (not important to me), would be felt, cork, or rubber anti-skid material on the bottom. I don’t need it, but if you do, expect to add these
I highly recommend this product.

I was impressed with the solid, heavy base that allows this stand to goose-neck pretty far, even with a mic the size of an sm58. Quality material that should stand the test of time, at least in my home studio. My only complaint, and this is why I took off one star, is that the mic clip thread-size is tiny! Even the euro adapter won’t make this useable with a normal mic-clip. I wanted to swap these out with the shock-mount clips for my pencil condensers, but I couldn’t. They work great, but don’t expect to change the clip or put a shock-mount on them.

Easy to mount on the podium I bought. Since the podium is slanted on top, I drilled a small hole in the base of the mic stand, and then put a screw thru the base into the podium top. I located the mic stand in the upper left corner of the podium, leaving room for a speakers notes, etc. Flexible, but stays where it is positioned. Fit a 1.25″ microphone since it is somewhat flexible. Might want to check description to see what size microphone it will hold before ordering.

This microphone stand turned out to be the perfect choice for my application. I’m actually using it to hold a 6.5 Oz flashlight for use in photography. The base is the right weight and the flexible shaft is tight and sturdy, yet it bends smoothly. Everything fit together perfectly and it came with a mic holder, which is plenty sturdy for my needs. I have already ordered another one and I recommend this to anyone.

The stand’s heavy and solid metal (bronze?) base actually takes up less desk space than most of the smaller, lighter, and similarly-priced plastic mike stands out there. The circular base and rugged and easily adjusted gooseneck with attached mike holder raises the Frisby microphone (which fits snugly into the holder) up to 14 inches off the desk, so I can now position it within inches of my mouth without any need to bend forward or over to be heard. Nice to find somethiing so rugged and well made these days.
