To cope with the demands of modern producers, engineers and performers, Alesis V25 MKII has been developed from the ground up to include more features than ever to give you complete control over your performance. Seamless plug and play integration with Mac, PC and iOS allows you to expressively control a range of VST instruments with the Alesis V25 MKII, while the included transport buttons give you complete control over your project within your DAW at your fingertips. Also featuring Octave +/- buttons, you can perform throughout the entire range of keys available in one performance accurately and authentically.

The onboard eight backlit pads respond to your playing expressively, delivering complete control for sample playback or drum samples and VSTs, making it the perfect companion to the live electronic music performer. Additionally, the pads also have “Note Repeat” and “Full Level” functionality to mimic the world’s most popular drum machines and sequencers.

Four rotary knob encoders can be assigned via MIDI to any parameter or function within your DAW, giving you the ability to creatively express yourself in real-time throughout a performance or set. Map one encoder to a filter cut-off for your VST instrument for interesting tones and sounds within your set and map another to the decay of a reverb plug-in within your DAW to open up expansive and never-ending soundscapes within your performance. Not limited to parameters within plug-ins, you could map the encoders to moving the play head within your project to remove the need for an external mouse!

For complete customization of your Alesis V25 MKII MIDI Keyboard Controller, you can edit the MIDI messages via the simple point-and-click editor software, allowing you to fine-tune the keys, pad and encoder responses to your personal taste.

V25 MKII comes bundled with a range of premium software to start your musical journey, including MPC Beats. MPC Beats is a comprehensive beat-making software, based on the legendary MPC hardware, implementing the same lightning-speed workflow features as well as industry-standard sounds and effects. Additionally, V25 MKII comes included with seven MPC Beats Expansion packs, giving you an even greater depth of sounds to discover in a myriad of genres and styles allowing you to broaden your tonal palette and find your signature sound.
