The 2i2 features two XLR/instrument combination inputs for accommodating both a¼-inch jack connection or an XLR connection. This means you can record two inputs at the same time, ideal for artists who play and sing at the same time. It also features built-in 48V Phantom Power, allowing you to record using studio-grade condenser microphones.

I was really impressed by how compact, sturdy, inexpensive and easy-to-use this device is. Not to mention, it produces a very clean sound. Well built 3rd Generation interface, The official driver and software took me awhile to find it, but once you download the official driver, the setup is very easy. I like the fact that it comes with its unique ASIO driver, I used it for my guitar play, the sound quality is amazing, highly recommended.

So far this Scarlett has been wonderful. So far I’ve used it with Logic, Pro Tools, and Garage Band. Easy to setup. USB powered. Build quality is excellent. Their tech support is very good.
