Delivering the same great features embodied by previous models, the AXE I/O ONE provides immersive sound-shaping capabilities and a versatile range of different recording modes. Powerful internal DSP conversion within the interface allows you to record and output high-definition 24-bit/192KHz audio with zero latency. With a single TRS/XLR combi input, you can connect more than just a guitar, as the AXE I/O ONE comes with a built-in class A microphone preamp that provides phantom power for studio mics that require it.

A tailored guitar channel

The AXE I/O ONE provides a triple-topology instrument input designed to capture every unique detail of your guitar’s character. IK Multimedia’s powerful Z-Tone feature allows you to further adapt the input for any guitar or bass, discovering sounds you never thought possible. The Z-Tone dial varies between ‘sharp’ and ‘bold’ via a user-controlled knob. This varies the tone from precise and tight right through to thicker and bolder. This becomes particularly beneficial when inputting bass guitars.

PURE mic preamp

AXE I/O ONE offers a high-definition, Class A mic preamp designed for transparent and clean recording. This provides an extended, flat frequency response capable of capturing the full tonal range of the sound source. The best-in-class dynamic range also makes the mic preamp suitable for ultra-quiet recordings.

Re-amplification has never been easier

The AXE I/O ONE offers a dedicated ‘Amp out’, which removes the need for external and often expensive re-amping setups. The output utilises a ground-isolated design and zero-latency routing to connect to your amp. This can then be easily mic’d up using AXE I/O ONE’s microphone preamp. Record a clean take of your instrument with the Z-TONE channel then send it to various amps, stomp boxes and settings until you find the perfect sound.

Complete with music software bundle

Perfect for recording at home or on the move, the AXE I/O ONE comes complete with a comprehensive music software bundle so you can get started straight out of the box. Included with the AXE I/O is Ableton Live Lite – a streamlined version of the award-winning DAW (digital audio workstation) that allows you to record, edit and arrange recordings with ease.

Also included within the software bundle is ToneX SE. ToneX combines the accuracy of analog-capturing technology with the convenience of software playback. Using advanced AI Machine Modeling technology, not only can ToneX capture the sound of any amplifier, cabinet, combo or pedal but it can then be played back via the intelligent software with an indistinguishable tone from the real thing. Not only that, but ToneX SE offers over 200 factory preset captures of the most desirable amplifiers and pedals on the market.

Last but not least is AmpliTube 5 SE which features over 150 guitar and bass gear models developed alongside some of the most iconic guitar brands ever created (Fender, Orange and more). As well as all the pedal emulations and rack gear recreations, AmpliTube 5 SE also features a built-in looper and custom impulse response for added flexibility.
