What is class-D technology?

Class D amplifiers are incredible. Unlike Class AB circuitry they only deliver power when necessary, switching on and off in multiple instances per second. This is excellent for reducing power losses from output devices which can lead to greater heat. Thanks to Class D technology Behringer no longer require massive heat sinks, resultantly making their products lighter.
