The GRX55B is an RX series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It is part of the entry-level GIO line The GRX55B features Ibanez Infinity pickups in an HSH pickup configuration and a six-screw synchronized tremolo bridge. In mid-2017 a new fretboard material, treated New Zealand pine, replaced rosewood.Treated New Zealand Pine has gone through an advanced seasoning process which yields a harder, more durable piece of wood. As a result, it offers enhanced stability while producing a rich warm tone.
