Evans B13ECSRD EC2 snare heads combine “Edge Control” technology with two plies of film to produce durability, playability, and a pre-EQ’d sound that is well suited for both recording and live performances. The addition of a specially designed patch on the reverse dot model lends extra durability, focus and attack in the center. Low tunings produce a highly characteristic “crack” while upper tunings create an un-choked “pop” tone without diminishing dynamic range.

Development of the new Edge Control Systems for Evans Tom Tom Heads does not stop at Snare heads. So there is also the right snare head with the popular Evans damping. The dot on the rear sidegives the coat additional Attack and maximum durability.
