Gold Standard Set-up

Professionally set-up by experienced luthiers, this violin features Hallmark’s strings. At a lower tension than other strings in their category they offer an unprecedented sound volume and clarity. The set up provided means it is ready to play, out of the box. It is stripped down, the nut is filed to the optimum height and string spacing is tailored to the individual instrument. Also supplied is a Hard case and a nickel bow.

Spruce and Maple Body

The back of the Hallmark UK is made from two pieces of figured maple & the ribs and scroll are also in a similar wood. The top is two pieces spruce of narrow or medium-narrow grain. This combination ensures a professional quality, rich resonance and pleasing timbre.

  1. Alfred Sowore

I’m an adult beginner who always wished I learned to play violin. I’m not getting any younger, so I decided to just go for it. Having no experience purchasing a violin before, I did a TON of research and watched video reviews by several professionals. I’ll save you some time. Buy this violin. Not only a Professional instrument, it should also serve you for years, which was a big plus in making my decision. The sound quality is great.

  2. Mitchell Ogbonna

I’ve been playing this violin for about three weeks, have never handled a violin before in my life (though I do play other stringed instruments), and it has worked out well. Quality is great. A key point to remember is that you MUST set the instrument up correctly, and it takes a few mins and some playing for the strings to settle down and begin to stay in tune.

Bought this for my 12 year old daughter who just decided one day out of the blue she wanted to play violin. I have no clue of what to look for in a violin. I read many reviews. This one seemed perfect with all it came from and the price so I ordered it. We got it yesterday it only took two days to get. She opened the case took it out and started playing it was all set up. Major plus of course it needs tuned but with the help of YouTube we accomplished this…she is absolutely in love with it! And it’s the correct color!! Double win for mom!

  4. Chima Alaoma

I read the reviews here (including the bad ones) and ordered it anyway. Got it in 2 days undamaged. Didn’t pop any strings because I tightened them slowly and evenly in small increments, especially the E string. No bridge issues, the sloping side goes toward the E string. My tuning pegs don’t slip because I put a little rosin on them. My strings sound and tune ok because I gave them a few days to stretch. The sound is not screechy or silent because I actually rosined the bow. All of this is in the owner’s manual, just read it people.
