Quick test proved this mount valuable in the studio and reduced any incoming and unwanted room and table vibration. The Sterling Audio ST55 mic also fits perfectly and was very simple and quick to mount the mic. I suspect this mount will last for years of trouble free service.

These little shockmounts are extremely well built. They’re put together with screws, not welds; the elastic seems durable and tight, the hardware is all-metal. I bought two of these for two mics I own that had no shockmounts, and I will probably order two more soon.

I am a recording professional and have used literally hundreds of mics and their suspension systems in studios in the past 27 years. I bought two of these to use with a pair of R0DE NT1’s that I’m using for some voiceover work in my ProTools home studio. I thought “Well what can I lose?” What a surprise! These things are very well made. High quality metal isolation with decent elastic. They fit my NT1’s perfectly.

Works with my Studio Projects C1 condenser but the locking screw is a bit weak. Weight of the mic requires a really strong turn of the locking screw, we’ll see if it holds up.
