I have recently taken up playing the drums strictly for my own pleasure and enjoyment. I had also purchased a drum pad because I did not want to make too much noise in the senior center during my drum practice. Since the drum pad did not come with drum sticks I ordered this set for a bargain price I just love using these drum sticks and I discovered you do not have to just strike the drum pad to made music but can strike just about anything and make some decent sounds. The sticks are light weight and feel great in my hands. I have even taken some free on line lessons on how to hold and use the drum sticks along with some practice exercises.
