Serious Connections
Connecting the CE500A-BK couldn’t be easier thanks to the convenient rear panel, which provides a standard XLR Mic Input and RCA jacks for connecting a computer, CD – or even an mp3 deck. To raise and lower the mic volume, just turn the Level control (RCA input levels are controlled by the source device). To run two CE500A-BKs in stereo mode, connect your playback deck to the right RCA jack on one loudspeaker and the left jack on the other. You can even chain together as many CE500A-BKs as you’d like via the handy Link XLR socket – all you need is a standard mic cable.

Instant PA System
You don’t even need a mixer to use the CE500A-BK – just provide operating power, connect a microphone and start talking. Sometimes that’s all you need; It’s like having your own personal 80-Watt megaphone!

Sound Value
Whether you need speakers for the conference room, the waiting room or the dining area, the 80-Watt CE500A-BK will elevate your company status – and get your message across in style.

I purchased 6 of these to fill a lecturehall which is 40 X 80 feet. These speakers fill the room with great sound. I was nervous about the size of the low end driver of these speakes (5.25 inch) but they have very good sound not only por public speaking but some music as well.
    another great product from Behringer!

    Great value.

The sound from the speaker is fine, but… The bracket is really poorly designed and wimpy. And, we had to return one of the speakers because 2 parts of the bracket were machined wrong and had key-ways mismatched. Back to the speakers: all controls are in the back and impossible to see when wall mounted. We have to loosen the bracket, tip the speaker down to see the controls, then tip back up. Even to turn on/off is a grope up behind the speaker to feel for the rocker switch.
