Description

The NEKKST K6 Audiophile Bi-Amped 150W 6.5″ Studio Monitor from Behringer is a 100W two-way active studio monitor for your home or professional studio.

Equipped with a 100-watt bi-amplification system that powers a 6.5″ woofer and a 1″ tweeter, the NEKKST K6 is designed to offer maximum headroom with minimal distortion. The silk dome tweeter and the long-throw woofer with deformation-resistant glass fiber cone have each been engineered to deliver a clear response in the mid-range along with a tight low end. The advanced wave guide technology improves acoustic dispersion and lends to a larger sweet spot.

Bi-Amplification – The Path to Absolute Signal Integrity
With its 100 ultra-clean Watts of output, delivered through separately-powered drivers via a true bi-amping mode with 2 amplifiers per speaker, the K6 delivers high-resolution sound that really brings out the best in your music. You will notice that most competitors apply simple passive crossovers, which not only inaccurately separate the frequency spectrum, but most importantly impact the drivers’ performance. BEHRINGER has gone the extra mile, driving each woofer and tweeter with a separate amplifier for absolute signal integrity.

Connectivity and Compatibility
Since a monitor’s output is only as good as its input, the NEKKST K6 includes a servo-balanced front end and accepts XLR, TRS and unbalanced RCA connectors for extremely-flexible connectivity. The high-density composite enclosure guarantees ultra-low diffraction and reduced low-frequency distortion.

  1. Precious Oriyomi

i have enjoyed these bad boys. they sound great. and the price point is really cool for me…i respect what they have done with these speakers. perfect for hobbyists like myself.

  2. Grace Dahunsi

For anyone that’s complaining about the low frequencies and these not having enough Bass,
These are studio monitors, they are meant for mixing and creating music. Studio monitors aren’t supposed to
be heavy in bass, they are supposed to be Flat. If you’re looking for more bass get a sub or speakers with more color/warmth.

  3. Adeojo J.

I use these for loudness and parties, the loudness is there put the lf frequencies aren’t

  4. Sam Olatunji

    Nice monitor, great quality

  5. Obinna Nwosu

These sound incredibly balanced and offer a number of adjustments to help tune for your room. Can’t beat the price for an 6in monitor. Highly recommended. I use them for recording reference and also for guitar rehearsal using my Line 6 Helix. They present a very true reference tone.

  6. Charles Akande

I purchased a pair of these K6s almost a year ago. To date, the speaker are excellent. IMO as a music producer, they are accurate and serve purely as a reference monitor in my home studio. There was a bit of a learning curve as far as translating from on audio source to another (ie. studio to car or smart phone). These speakers do the have the ability to pound but I don’t use them for entertainment often. If you want clear and accurate sounding, reference monitors at an amazing price, this is it. Don’t do what I did initially. I crank up all the dials on the back of the speaker and start producing. The first couple of beats I made almost blew the back glass out of my car. LOL
Do your research so you can get the most bang for your buck (set up, spacing, room adjustment, sound proofing etc.)
